This is a therapy service that focuses on wellness and resilience building.

The therapist will work with the client to build on their skills and resources to reach the goals that they wish to achieve.

In this therapy service the client will lead the direction and outcomes of the therapy.

This approach is guided by the belief that the most effective person for creating change is the client. The client is the only person who has lived in their ‘shoes’ and is the only person who knows how to successfully navigate their life.

Specialising in working with Children and Youth and their Families to support their mental well-being and move towards positive change.

Therapeutic support provided to Adults on their journey to overcome various life challenges and mental health.

Extensive experience with Autism and Mental Health, and other Neurodiverse children, teens and adults.

Provides therapeutic support in an affirming way that encourages acceptance and understanding of Neurodivergence / Neurodiversity, in order to build a positive sense of self that can move towards successful navigation of the environment.

This is a Neurodivergent Affirming therapy service that considers the needs of the neurodiverse person during the therapeutic process.

The therapist provides psychotherapy in an integrative way that is tailored to the unique needs of the individual presenting for support.

One of the psychotherapies that aligns with the values of the therapist is Act

The therapist also utilises Creative Therapies to assist the therapeutic process when it can be difficult to express or access the internal world. This can be particularly effective when supporting young people.

Details of the Service

This service is based in the heart of the sunshine coast in Qld, with office locations in Mountain Creek, Montville, Kenilworth and Imbil.

Telehealth sessions also available. Conducting the session over the phone or via online communication is a convenient, flexible and effective medium for accessing therapy. This can be particularly useful for people who have caring arrangements, busy schedules or travel limitations. Research has shown that telephone therapy is just as effective as face to face therapy.

The fee for a 1 hour session:

  • Telehealth: $170
  • In person: $170
  • NDIS clients, Self managed or Plan managed: Aligned with NDIS pricing

Reduced Fee: Further concession available on request, as per need basis.

My name is Jonathan. I am a Mental Health Social Worker with a strong background in providing therapeutic support to children, adults, and families.

I believe that the person seeking support is best positioned to lead the direction of their own life, and that my role in their journey is to provide an opportunity where they can grow, learn and overcome the obstacles standing in their way to achieving their full potential.

As a Mental Health Social Worker, I integrate proven psychological strategies and skills to help you overcome the challenges you are facing, in order to achieve your goals.

I hold qualifications as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (BSW), a Masters in Counselling (M.Couns) and come with 10 years practitioner experience.
